An evening with Donnafugata

An evening hosted by Fabio Genovese from Donnafugata.  Once owned by the Rallo family who have made wine in Marsala 1851, their ancient cellars tunnel beneath the city.  When the sales of Marsala started to decline they were one of the first families to start making high quality table wine, launching the Donnafugata lablel in 1983 and championing the potenial of the regions native grape varieties.

With four estates; in the hills to the east of Marsala, Vittoria in the south of the island, on the island of Pantalleria and on the slopes of Etna, this promisies to be a fantastic evening discovering some of the very best wines Sciliy has to offer.
