About the event
Join us for an evening hosted by Guiseppe Vaira taking a look at the wines from two wineries in Piemonte, Italy.
First up his family winery G.D. Vajra in the western edge of Barolo. We'll be tasting a wide range of wines including Moscato d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and not one but two Barolo's including the exceptional single vineyard plot of Bricco delle Viole, the standout plot from the family estate 400m above sea level.
We'll also be taking a look at the families other winery, Luigi Baudana a small 4 hectare estate in the commune of Serralunga d'Alba. Their tiny cellar is situated village of Baudana , while the vineyards are primarily in the crus of Baudana and Cerretta producing wines of power and structure.
This promises to be an outstadning tasting with some truly outstanding wines on show, we are extemely fortunate to have Giuseppe with us.…
