Hosted by Jay Robey, we'll be taking a look at three distilleries in one evening.

First up, Highland power house, Glengoyne. Distilled more slowly than any other malt whisky. The spirit is nursed through the stills to create the complex, fruity, award-winning spirit to which Glengoyne are so rightly proud. They say for every minute other whisky spend in a cask, Glengoyne's spend three.

Then a shop hop to Speyside and Tamdhu. In 1898 our founders secured their first precious shipment of sherry casks from the finest bodegas in Spain. Now over 100 years later, Tamdhu matures its whisky exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks. Nothing less.

It's one of the hardest and most expensive ways to mature whisky, not to mention it limits the amount of precious spirit they can produce. So why do they do it that way? Because they believe it's the only way to create…
