About the event
The Lane’s 42 hectares of vineyards are a patchwork of micro-climates set across rolling hills and valleys. Cooling air from the Southern Ocean, plus high altitude gully breezes create the cool climate the Adelaide Hills is renowned for. Winters are cold and wet with abundant rainfall while summers are warm to mild. This is the ideal terroir for growing grapes and crafting wines with impressive structure, minerality and natural acidity which will age with grace and composure.
We'll be exploring six superb wines, poured alongside Wildgoose Café's legendary Charcuterie sharing platters.
Expect stunning Chardonnay, top quality Shiraz and a sprinkling of Pinot Gris and Viognier for good measure. We'll be joined by Jared Stringer who'll give us an expert guide to the wines and the esteemed Adelaide Hills region.
